The Metal Earth models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters or the Metal Earth Tool Kit and follow the included directions to assemble your model. No solder or glue required. "My job is to make tomorrow's world better. Always has been." -Captain America.

Took me a slow evening to finish, but snapping each piece out of that 4-inch steel sheet and watching the shield take shape was genuinely satisfying. The etched detail on the star and rings is crisp, and the whole thing feels solid once the tabs lock in.

The pieces pop out cleanly from those 4-inch sheets, and watching the shield take shape layer by layer was genuinely satisfying. Even the tiny details on the star held up well once I got the tabs twisted right. It's fiddly, but the finished display piece is worth every minute.

The tabs are sturdy enough that you can re-bend them a few times without snapping, which saved me during a couple of tricky spots on the shield's rim. Took about two evenings to finish, and the final result looks great on my desk. Just wish the stand was a bit more stable for display.
