Metal Earth 3D Metal Model Kit - Star Wars: Darth Vader's TIE Fighter

The tabs on those two steel sheets fit together so precisely that I didn't need glue or tools for most of the build—just patience and a steady hand. Watching the cockpit and wing panels click into place was oddly satisfying, and the finished model has a nice weight to it on my desk.

The laser etching is so clean that those tiny panels actually pop once you bend them into place, and the finished fighter feels surprisingly sturdy for something built from flat steel sheets. My fingers were sore for a day, but staring at it on my shelf makes the effort completely worth it.
