Metal Earth 3D Metal Model Kit - Empire State Building

Took me three patient evenings to finish, but the way those tiny tabs lock into place makes the final tower feel surprisingly solid. The laser-cut detail on the windows and setbacks is sharper than any plastic model I've built.

The laser-cut pieces pop out cleanly and the tabs slot together surprisingly tight once you get the hang of the folds. It's tedious work for sure, but watching that little Art Deco tower take shape over a rainy Saturday was genuinely satisfying.

Spent two evenings carefully bending those tiny steel tabs, and the finished tower is surprisingly sturdy—the laser-cut details on the facade really pop when the light hits them. It’s a fiddly build, but the sense of accomplishment when the last piece clicks into place is genuinely worth it.
