The Iron Throne is for the King of the seven kingdoms, located in the great hall of the Red Keep in the city of King's landing. It was forged from 1,000 swords that had been surrendered to Aegon in the war of conquest. The model measures 2.72 x 4.33 x 2.6 inches when assembled. Difficulty level: Challenging. No glue or solder needed.



Recommended for 1 player, ages 14+.

I didn't expect the tiny swords on the back of the throne to be individual pieces, but they are, and bending each one into place was oddly satisfying. It took me about three hours across two evenings and the finished thing looks great on my desk. Tweezers are basically mandatory though.

Assembling this Iron Throne model was incredibly satisfying — the way the 1,000 tiny metal swords fit together to form the iconic seat is just brilliant. Took me a couple of evenings but the detail is amazing.
