The etched metal pieces are incredibly detailed, right down to the train’s wheels and the Hogwarts crest on the side. Punching out all the tiny tabs took patience, but watching the locomotive take shape was pure magic.

Took me a patient evening to bend the tiny tabs into place, but the finished locomotive really captures the Hogwarts Express look from the description. The steam engine and tender pieces fit snugly once you get the hang of it, though I wish the instructions had a couple more close-up diagrams.
