Those interlocking plastic pieces really do fight back — I had to restart the tail section twice before it clicked. Once it's together the shark holds its shape nicely and sits on my desk without wobbling. Took me about an hour, and I'd happily do another one.
Putting this together took way longer than the 20 minutes I guessed — those glossy pieces all look annoyingly similar until they suddenly click. Still, the finished shark has a nice weight to it and sits on my shelf without wobbling.
The glossy finish looks great on my shelf, but the interlocking pieces are tiny and took me longer than expected to figure out. Once assembled, it's a cool display piece.
