Metal Earth 3D Metal Model Kit - Transformers Optimus Prime

Spent a whole rainy afternoon on this and honestly, the way the etched metal sheets transform into something so recognizable is pure wizardry. Fiddly at times, but every piece that pops out clicks together with that satisfying little snap, and the final figure is a real shelf centerpiece.

My hands were cramping by the end, but seeing Optimus standing fully assembled on my shelf made every second of bending those tiny tabs worth it. The etching detail on the chest and legs is unbelievably crisp for something that starts as flat 4-inch sheets.

Took me a patient evening, but popping those tiny pieces off the 4-inch sheets and watching Optimus take shape was genuinely satisfying. The etched detail is incredible for something that starts flat, and the fit is snug enough that he stands proud on my shelf.
