The tiny tabs on the wings take some patience to twist, but the finished P-51D looks sharp sitting on my desk. Took me about two hours and only one piece bent the wrong way. Solid little weekend build.

I've built a few of these metal kits and the P-51D was my favorite so far — the single-seat cockpit and long-range fighter shape come through nicely once the fuselage tabs are bent into place. Took me about two hours with tweezers, and the finished wingspan looks great on my shelf next to the other

The etched panel lines on the wings are incredibly fine, and it genuinely looks like a miniature P-51D once assembled. Tweezers are a must for the tiny propeller blades, but the finished Sweet Arlene is worth every fiddly minute.
